PRAYING DAILY AT HOME

We want to provide additional resources to our parishioners and friends of Holy Faith through this page. Several have been sharing with us their experience during this time of isolation.

This pandemic forces us into our own desert experience with Jesus. I think this is a very special time to decide what is really important in our lives and let go of the unimportant things. I am doing well, peaceful, and prayerful …. I am enjoying the quiet, unhurried pace praying and listening to talks by spiritual leaders and watching a few DVDs. I’m praying the rosary. I try to contact one different person each day to check in on them.   RG

I have been listening to daily Mass now on Facebook live. I caught one by accident on Monday and so every day this week I searched for it. I don’t often get the chance to pray daily Mass as life is busy with two children and one on the way. But this week has changed my life. I could say that this pandemic has inspired me to seek out help for my spiritual life and I have found it in the Mass.  Although I cannot receive the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist at this time I have a new gratefulness for the Mass and I have learned how to pray a Spirtual Communion.  TM

To aid you in your spiritual journey during this time away from Mass, we pray that everyone find a way to participate in the celebration of Holy Mass, and so to help we are providing you with a guide to assist. For Sundays, beginning this week, March 22, 2020, we will post Fr. Emmanuel’s homilies, our intercessions and prayers of the Mass here and on separate pages on our website (click on “Media” link on the navigation bar).
