Special Pastoral Care

Our Special Pastoral Care Ministry shares in the very vision of Holy Faith Parish “to build together a community of compassion in Christ.” We desire to help those entrusted to our care, especially the eldering, sick and suffering, feel the fruitful and peaceful following of Jesus as together we journey along the path to eternal life. Being companions with them is both a gift and responsibility. They understand the importance of “being” who they are and loving those around them. As we minister to each person, we ourselves are ministered to by their wisdom, experience, hope and joyful acceptance of life.

The pastoral care ministers bring the presence of Jesus Christ through the most Holy Eucharist and prayer, to the homebound, those in the hospital or nursing homes, the retirement facilities and to those in Hospice care. (see Extrordianary Ministers of Holy Communion to the Sick)
