Holy Saturday, April 20, 2019: Morning Prayer is at 9am today in the Chapel.
We pray all were able to join us at the Celebrations of the last two evenings. We are now about to enter the Celebration of the Resurrection of the Lord at the Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday Masses. Today is a day to remain in a quiet prayerful mood as we recall the silence of Jesus in the tomb.
At 11:00am we will bless your Easter Baskets, as is one of our annual traditions, inside the Chapel.
The priests will hear confessions from 3:30 to 4:30pm in the Church.
Th Celebration at the Easter Vigil Mass of the Resurrection of the Lord begins at 8:30pm this evening. On this night we put all our troubles, fears and doubts to the side and focus on what we hear and witness and celebrate this evening. The Mass begins in darkness and the Liturgy of the Word is heard in candlelight. Oh, what a night! We have reached the third Day. We will witness the Baptism of our new members and renew our Baptismal promises. This night is the night that will bring us into the Joy of Easter Sunday.
